Masking Butterflies
I love the masking technique. It looks great but its not very easy to do all the time. This is my 4th try. Whew!
Recipe:
Card Stock: Whisper White, a scrap piece to punch a 1" square
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black
Stamp Set: Papillon Potpourri
Tools: 1" Square Punch, pencil, eraser, ruler, removable adhesive
Directions:
Draw a very light vertical line at 2.125" (divide in half).
Draw a very light horizontal line between 2.5" and 3". It's your preference.
Punch out a 1" square out of a scrap piece of card stock, the "stencil".
Line up opposite vertices of the stencil with the line that was drawn.
Use removable adhesive to adhere.
Use a sponge or a dauber to sponge the color a square.
Repeat 3 more times around the "cross".
Stamp a small butterfly over the colored square.
